Mjolnir: Thor's Hammer Replicas and Collectibles
Mjolnir is the most famous weapon in Norse mythology and one of the most recognisable objects in modern pop culture. The hammer of Thor, forged by the dwarven brothers Sindri and Brokkr, levelled mountains in the old sagas and consecrated marriages, births and funerals as a sacred object. The Marvel films added the worthiness enchantment and made the silhouette globally famous. This collection brings together every Mjolnir replica and Thor's hammer collectible we stock.
What's in the Collection
The range covers three distinct takes on the hammer:
-
Life-size display replicas. Full-scale Mjolnir hammer pieces built for shelf and floor display. The flagship version pairs a metal handle with a resin head and ships with a heavy resin base, so the hammer sits grounded as if it has just landed in front of you. A resin display-stand version is also available at a lighter weight.
-
The Norse interpretation. A Mjolnir styled to the Viking-age depiction seen in the Assassin's Creed game series: closer to the archaeological hammer pendants of historical Scandinavia than to the Marvel prop, for collectors who want the mythological original rather than the movie version.
-
Novelty and gift pieces. Including the Mjolnir tool kit, a working tool set housed in a hammer-shaped case, which has become one of our most popular gift items for the worthy defender of house and home.
Choosing a Thor Hammer Replica
The main decision is weight and mounting. The metal-handled version weighs around 1.75kg with a 1.2kg base, which gives the most convincing in-hand feel for photos and cosplay but needs a solid surface to live on. The resin display-stand version is lighter at around 1.65kg and suits shelf display. Neither is a wearable pendant; both are full-size display pieces.
For screen accuracy, the squared head and short handle of the classic design follow the Marvel proportions. For historical accuracy, the Assassin's Creed Norse version is the closer match to the Viking-age artefacts: the original mjolnir amulets dug up across Scandinavia are smaller, more stylised and more ornate than the film prop.
Mjolnir in Myth and on Screen
In the Eddas, thors hammer was as much a holy object as a weapon. Mjolnir blessed weddings, hallowed the dead and protected Midgard from the giants; the name itself is usually translated as "the crusher". Thousands of hammer amulets survive from the Viking age, worn the way later Scandinavians wore the cross. The Marvel version layered the worthiness enchantment on top ("whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy..."), which is a 20th century comic-book invention rather than mythology, but it's the version that put the hammer on a billion screens.

# Summary
Ten pages, all verified as not yet rewritten on the live site:
- REPLACE (8): kirito Elucidator, Zoro aw580, film-tv-memorabilia, anduril plaque and sheath, historical-swords, altair, colt-samuel, mjolnir
- AUGMENT (2): obi-wan lightsaber (append the Ben Kenobi section), cult-cuties (append range and materials)
Not included: Dark Sister sheath sword (already fully rewritten, no action).
Notes for Brian or TJ:
1. aw580 and aw631 are both listed as Zoro's cursed sword at 104cm. Likely a duplicate product. The aw580 copy positions on generic Zoro katana terms to avoid clashing with aw631 on Sandai Kitetsu, but the clean fix is confirming whether they are two products or one.
2. Four Anduril listings split impressions on "anduril sword". The plaque page is positioned on "anduril replica uk" to differentiate, but consolidating to two listings would help all of them.
3. The two Mjolnir blogs rank position 1 for "mjolnir" on informational intent. Confirm both link into the collection page.
4. All measurements in this document trace to the live product pages. Nothing invented.
