A derringer is generally the smallest usable handgun of a given calibre.
They have been used by women because they are easily concealable in a purse, or as a stocking gun.
Derringers are not repeating firearms-repeating mechanism such as used on semiautomatic handguns or revolvers would add significant bulk to the gun, defeating the purpose.
The original cartridge derringers held only a single round, usually a pinfire or rimfire cartridge, usually around a .40 calibre, and the barrel pivoted sideways on the frame to allow access to the breech for reloading.

Returns Policy
RETURNS - All returns for whatever reasons must be authorised. We will require the original invoice/receipt or copy thereof as proof of purchase. Please remember that when you sign for goods to check that the packaging is intact and sealed/unopened. Any goods/delivery query/shortage or fault must be notified.
FAULTY RETURNS - Faulty goods. If there is a fault with any of the goods you purchase please let us know within 14 days of receiving your goods.
NON-FAULTY RETURNS/RIGHT TO CANCEL/COOLING OFF PERIOD There is a cooling off period of 7 days during which you have the right to cancel. You must provide notice of cancellation by contacting us by email or phone. This needs be done within 7 days of receiving the order. Ancient Warrior complies with current legislation with regards to returns, specifically The Customer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000. i.e. you have the right to return the goods for a refund.
OTHER RETURNS - Goods returned without authorisation will be refused.
