The First Blade: Supernatural Replica (Mark of Cain Weapon)
This is our resin replica of The First Blade from Supernatural, the bone-bladed weapon forged from the jawbone of the donkey that Cain used to murder his brother Abel. The First Blade is one of the most powerful weapons in the entire Supernatural universe, capable of killing anything when wielded by the bearer of the Mark of Cain.
The Lore
In Supernatural's mythology, the First Blade was forged by Cain after the Mark of Cain was placed upon him by Lucifer. With the Mark, Cain became the first murderer and the founding member of the Knights of Hell, a group of elite demons personally created and trained by Lucifer. The blade itself has no power without the Mark, but when the two are joined, the bearer becomes effectively unstoppable.
The First Blade's appearances in Supernatural begin in Season 9, when Dean Winchester takes the Mark of Cain in order to gain access to the blade and kill Abaddon, a Knight of Hell who had returned to Earth. Crowley, the King of Hell, helped the Winchesters track the blade down, and famously described it as "the most dangerous weapon on the planet" because of what it could do to angels, demons, and reapers alike. The First Blade went on to become a central plot device across Seasons 9 and 10, driving Dean's transformation into a demon, his eventual cure, and the cataclysmic Mark of Cain storyline arc that nearly destroyed the world.
The First Blade is one of only a handful of supernatural blades in the show capable of killing a Knight of Hell. The others are the Archangel Blade and a small number of other ancient weapons, but the First Blade is the only one available to humans rather than archangels.

Where The First Blade Sits in Our Supernatural Range
This piece pairs with our wider Supernatural range, including the Colt revolver replica and the Angel Blade pieces. For collectors building a full Supernatural display, the First Blade is the centrepiece of the post-Season 9 era. Sam and Dean Winchester props together with the First Blade make a compact and visually striking display set, especially when mounted alongside the Mark of Cain forearm prop.
If you're new to the show and you want to know which Supernatural blades are worth collecting, the First Blade is in the top three alongside the Colt and the Archangel Blade. It carries more story weight than almost any other prop in the show, and the recognisability of the bone-effect bladework makes it the easiest piece to identify across a room.
