Kamishiro Hakuko Laughing Under the Clouds Kunai Sword
Laughing Under the Clouds - Kamishiro Hakuko Kunai (51cm)
This isn’t just a kunai. It’s Kamishiro Hakuko’s
Laughing Under the Clouds is a supernatural historical manga series written and illustrated by Karakara-Kemuri. It has spawned a popular 12-episode anime adaptation, spin-off manga, and a sequel film trilogy.
The story is set in the 11th year of the Meiji Era (1878). Following the collapse of the shogunate, the Japanese government outlawed the carrying of swords, leading to widespread samurai rebellions and a massive spike in crime. To contain the unrest, an inescapable giant island stronghold called Gokumonjo prison was constructed in the middle of Lake Biwa.
At 51cm, it sits in a unique space larger than expected, but still agile in feel. All the presence of a full weapon, none of the bulk.
