A three-tier katana sword stand (katanakake) is the standard way to beautifully showcase a full Japanese sword set, historically comprising the Katana, Wakizashi, and Tanto.
If you are dedicated to a single character's blade or want a minimalist setup, this stand offers excellent stability and clean lines.

Cradle Width: The cradles typically measure about 3 cm to 4 cm (1.25" to 1.5") to comfortably fit the scabbard (saya) of most display swords.
Proper Traditional Etiquette for Displaying a KatanaIf you are displaying authentic or highly accurate replica Japanese swords, custom dictates specific positioning rules: Blade Edge Facing Up:
Historically, katanas are placed on the stand with the cutting edge (ha) facing upwards to protect the edge from resting on the wood and to mirror how the sword is carried.
Hilt to the Left: Placing the hilt (tsuka) to the left indicates peace and a non-defensive posture, as the sword cannot be quickly drawn with the right hand.

We offer a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- Returned with any tags and original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, or you've received the wrong product, contact us immediately at hello@ancientwarrior.co.uk with your order number and photos where possible. We'll resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

If you'd like a different item, simply request a return for the original product and place a new order.
Refunds
