In the God of War series, the "blades" primarily refer to the iconic chained weapons wielded by Kratos. These blades are characterized by their ability to be thrown and retracted via chains seared to the wielder's forearms, and they are infused with elemental fire.
The Blades of Athena (Blue and Gold)
Origin: Bestowed upon Kratos by Athena at the end of the first game to signify his ascension to the throne as the new God of War.
Symbolism: These represent his godly status and "triumph" over Ares.
Appearance:
Divine Form: While Kratos retains his godhood, the blades are golden with blue glyphs and a light blue/teal aura, matching the color palette associated with Olympus and the sky.
Mortal Transition: After Kratos is stripped of his godhood in God of War II, the blue/gold light fades. As he upgrades them with red orbs, they gradually return to a flaming red colour, signalling his return to a path of vengeance and rage.
The blunted blade assures that the sword is safe and easy to handle, measuring an impressive 53cm in length.
The chain length is 78cm and the weight of a single blade is 1.3kg.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
