This is our replica of Sode no Shirayuki, the Zanpakuto wielded by Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach. Sode no Shirayuki, which translates as "Sleeve of White Snow," is widely considered the most beautiful Zanpakuto in the entire series, and the Shikai release is one of the most visually striking sword forms in the anime.
About Rukia and Her Katana
Rukia Kuchiki is the female lead of Bleach, a Soul Reaper of the 13th Division under Captain Jushiro Ukitake and the adopted sister of Captain Byakuya Kuchiki of the 6th Division. Her Zanpakuto is an ice-element blade, one of the rarer element types in the Gotei 13. The Shikai release command for Sode no Shirayuki is "Mae" (translated as "Dance"), and the Bankai release is "Hakka no Togame" (Reproach of the White Haze), which encases Rukia in pure white frost and freezes anything she touches.
This Rukia katana replicates the Shikai form of the blade specifically, which is why every component of the sword is pure white rather than the standard black-hilted katana Rukia carries before activation. The Shikai transformation reshapes the entire sword. The blade becomes a slim, gracefully curved katana with a fully white finish. The hilt loses its standard black wrap and becomes white. The tsuba transforms into a hexagonal snowflake silhouette. And a long white ribbon extends from the pommel, which Rukia uses to direct the Sode no Shirayuki sword through complex spinning motions during her release attacks.

The extra-long handle is a deliberate detail from the source material. Most Zanpakuto have standard-length hilts, but Sode no Shirayuki's handle extends further than usual to accommodate the spinning motions Rukia uses during her Shikai attacks. This is what makes the rukia sword visually longer than most of the other Bleach Zanpakuto replicas in our range.

A note on Sode no Shirayuki variants: this listing is for the Shikai form (the active released form). The sealed katana form Rukia carries before activation is a separate model. The Bankai form, where the blade and Rukia herself encase in white frost, is not currently produced as a replica because the form is more an environmental effect than a discrete sword.

Returns Policy
RETURNS - All returns for whatever reasons must be authorised. We will require the original invoice/receipt or copy thereof as proof of purchase. Please remember that when you sign for goods to check that the packaging is intact and sealed/unopened. Any goods/delivery query/shortage or fault must be notified.
FAULTY RETURNS - Faulty goods. If there is a fault with any of the goods you purchase please let us know within 14 days of receiving your goods.
NON-FAULTY RETURNS/RIGHT TO CANCEL/COOLING OFF PERIOD There is a cooling off period of 7 days during which you have the right to cancel. You must provide notice of cancellation by contacting us by email or phone. This needs be done within 7 days of receiving the order. Ancient Warrior complies with current legislation with regards to returns, specifically The Customer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000. i.e. you have the right to return the goods for a refund.
